SHICHIDA Junmai 75%
Awarded Gold at the 2013 Junmai Shu Awards in Japan, this Junmai is both unique for the low polishing ratio of Yamadanishiki rice at 75% and that it is aged for 4 years. It possesses a woodsy Koshu nose and rich flavours of dried fruits on the pallet. It is a versatile brew, enjoyed at various temperatures and with a variety of foods. This sake pairs perfectly with grilled meats, especially gamey ones such as lamb and venison as well as roasted mushrooms, potatoes, pork shoulder and ribs.
